FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Officers with the Flint Township Police Department were dispatched to the Red Roof Inn on Miller Rd. at approximately 2:15 a.m. for reports of a shooting.

Police located a 23 year old male, a resident of the City of Flint, that had been shot one time while in the parking lot.

He was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.

Investigators soon developed a person of interest and he was arrested a short time later.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
