FLINT, Mich. – Angelo’s Coney Island is closing its doors after 69 years on Davison and Franklin.

There isn’t a closing sign on the door, but the owners of the Flint location – Tim and Paula Stanek – told our news crew it is permanently closed.

They have owned the restaurant since last year.

The restaurant did find jobs for its Flint employees at the location in Grand Blanc.

Employees were notified of the closing last week.

If you’re a fan of their food, their Grand Blanc location at 7500 Grand Parkway is still open.

For customers that bought a gift certificate Angelo’s will honor it at the Grand Blanc location.
