Police in Flint still looking for answers in unsolved double homicide

FLINT, Mich. - The case of a double homicide on Flint's north side still remains unsolved a year later.

Back in October of 2022, 21-year-oldKoltin Amaya and 24-year-old Christian Flint were shot on Root St. and died from their injuries.

A third victim survived.

Police are still looking for a suspect.

Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County says on that day, October 3rd, 2022, an unidentified black male in a black Chevrolet Impala drove past the victims and others before stopping, then fired multiple rounds from the open driver side door.

A cash reward up to $2,500 for a tip leading to an arrest in this case is being offered.
