FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich., -- According to the Flint Township Police, a suspect connected to a deadly shooting has been identified.

The shooting took place around 2:15 a.m. on Friday, November 29 at the Red Roof Inn.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old Brian Green of Flint.

The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Devonte Scott.

According to a news release, Scott has been charged with the following:

• First degree murder
• Two counts of felony firearm
• Possession with intent to deliver marijuana
